Catalina!

This lovely aircraft came low over us in a gloomy sky this morning, and I only managed a tail-end view.
G-PBYA was built in 1943 and is now certified to fly at air displays around the country. I last saw it at the Southport Air Show in 2015.
It reminds me of my dad, as he and I built an Airfix version when I was very young, probably one of the first big planes I was allowed to attempt (with lots of help)!
