Midsummer

It's Midsummer Eve in Finland, and the burnet rose (which we call Midsummer rose) is blooming at the right time, thanks to cool weather so far. That ended though, and today we had +28°C.

We finished making silage today after three more loads. Still on recovery from the little cold I had a couple of days ago, the tractor was more than warm enough by noon, so lucky that I didn't have to work there any longer. Covering the pits was a sweaty job though, and having not enough time nor sawdust, there's more to do tomorrow.

In the evening we had a delicious barbecue dinner with my parents and the nephews as guests.
