The difference

When we left home just over a week ago, the Forsythia in the front garden was still bare branches. Not a sign of life. In fact we wondered whether it had succumbed to the cold and was dead.

Today it is in full blossom and we have a garden full of daffodils. And the swallows are back - so all is well with the world!!
