Left home 9:00 a.m , arrived 7:15 p.m , long journey! Purpose of visit is to see my 91 year old father in law , who lives with my sister in law. Sadly, due to distance, we don’t see them very often. Zoom and phone calls don’t give the full picture. He had a UTI about a month ago which has really knocked him about. My poor sister in law is on her knees :( :(. They are starting to accept outside help and hopefully this support will help them both. It is so hard these days, with many families, like ours, being very small and geographically far apart. I feel very useless but hope to take my sister in law out for a few coffees whilst my husband sits with his father. She really needs a break!
