Bit of a let down

Tilly’s work at the end of year show at the Hereford college of Art.
She thought the course tutors were rubbish and uninspiring.
They dictated how her work should be displayed.
We changed it.
Her statement reads: These paintings depict the confinement and control of creativity within our ‘academic’ dominated education system; with that I also wanted to illustrate the inevitable loss of a child’s free-spirited mind.”
I’d agree with her - but it’s more political than academic.
