Juvenile Siskin

It doesn't do for birds to nod off on our bird feeding station. I was still standing by the window after photographing this young siskin when whoosh! There goes another blue tit. The sparrowhawk grabbed the bird and went off into the corner of the garden to eat it.

The siskin doesn't know how lucky it was!
