Eagle Pole

Had a walk at Loch Ard this morning. It started to rain just as we arrived and lasted most of the two hours we were walking. There was a brief respite towards the end of the walk so we stopped to have some coffee and pastries I had brought with us, the midgies then appeared! The rain is preferable to being eaten by midgies!
There are a few sculptures around as part of the Loch Ard Sculpture Trail and this is one of my favourites - ‘Eagle Pole’ by Rob Mulholland (2008). It looked particularly nice today with the grey sky and reflections of the trees.
