Opening The Gate door

The  girls and I had a catch-up pizza then went to see Baz Luhrmann's 'Elvis' at The Gate Cinema in Notting Hill. The picture is a door handle which looks like a spool of film.

The movie had a huge amount of energy which was very enjoyable.

I especially appreciated the first part which explored 'The King's' gospel and blues influences (or appropriations if you wish). Shot a bit like 'Citizen Kane' on hallucinogens, but hey! 

The second half was over long but purist's would probably argue there was not enough detail.
