One Hundred & Seventy Six

It's Freyja's last weekend before she goes home so I took her for a lovely afternoon out. She even got a treat of sausage flavour doggy ice cream :)

We went to Nowton Park on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. I'd been before but we discovered lots of new areas today and especially nice was this old church archway in the grounds.

I thought at first it was a Victorian purpose built folly, but have since found out that it was part of an old church that got moved to this site in 1831. The font through the archway is from a church in the village. Nice to know reclamation was going on all those years ago! :)

The manor house here apparently became a school and nowadays it appears to be a retirement complex. Beautiful place. There's a maze too but we didn't tackle that!
