Heading Home

A friend on other social media speculated I may cycle home from Saint Andrews. An app tells me it would take 10 hours.
We vacated the rental house this morning and took L for breakfast in a popular cafe. We could only get the house up until today. L has another night in Saint Andrews as his graduation ball is held this evening. He had sorted out B and B at university halls for this evening. Though he can't get to the room till later the reception has a safe storage facility for folk needing to drop off luggage. We said cheerio and he continued on foot to meet up with friends he hadn't seen in a while.
Although we have been here many times over L's terms at uni I still feel like there is a lot I would like to explore and this is possibly the last time we will be in this corner of Fife. Given the way their last term (2020) came to a  -petering out- end without sense of conclusion it must be a strange feeling for L and his year mates to have this last visit too.
We bumped into one of his friends (from Isle of Skye originally) who has returned from California for the event.

There has been a lot of rich eating over the weekend and not much exercise. I did a 90 minute loop on the bike late afternoon.
