Cat feeding station

You may have noticed a recurring theme here.. this is between the bus stop and summer school where I’m teaching now. I went for my first session today - just sent into the classroom with a book full of grammar activities (really?!) and told to spend time with some 8-10 year olds then the same thing for 11-14 year olds. Well, bluffed my way through - rapport building, assessing informally - mixed ages, mixed levels and a grammar book! I’m going back next week - hopefully the same classes - I can prepare fun activities with meaning and content and they can do the grammar at home!
A lazy afternoon then my two evening classes. Very hot here and humid!
