Reverse Park

Went into Leeds with Elaine.
We managed to get her the silver trainers from Clinkards, she has been searching for this particular pair.
Then we had a coffee and went our separate ways, her to go home, me to do a front of house shift at Northern Ballet.
Some sort of mix up as the two other volunteers were no shows so it was just the manager and myself but all went well.
Then l caught the train to Skipton as l was invited for dinner to celebrate my birthday ( was actually invited for yesterday but had made other arrangements).
When l got to the station my chauffeur was waiting: Ruby who has been having lessons for the last couple of months.
We took a detour through Skippy as it was Sheep Day in the High Street and the road was closed.
When we got to their home Ruby did a very competent reverse park and l took my opportunity.
She is booked in for a test in November but hoping for a cancellation before then, already passed the theory.
Am staying the night here, so l’m already on the G&Ts.
Will be watching Diana Ross at Glastonbury, just hope they get the sound as fpgood as it was when we saw her last week and not have the technical problems she suffered at the Jubilee concert.
Aww and just look at the card l got, so fortunate to be a grandparent.
