Indeed be careful what you wish for. The rain arrived in stair rods. I do t think I’ve ever seen anything like it outside of the Tropics!

For a moment the water was cascading off the road and down around our house like a moat. My husband sent me a photo of the cloud that was over us as seen from his office. Creepy!
