Spring Turns to Summer.


Whilst we were away in Dorset I spent a day with Phil in Bridport. He needed to pop into 'The Works' so I had a browse, always dangerous. I spotted these wooden butterflies and leaves and though they would be a nice addition to my collection of 'Still Life items' I got from Dianne Owen.

Today I had a play. I used the homemade paper from Dianne as a starting point and then added some wooden flowers and a butterflies. I had some green sand that I sprinkled along the base. The Red Sun was added. I took photos as I built the image up and then blended parts in photoshop along with some texture layers. 

The process is quite addictive and really therapeutic. Of course I had Paul McCartney playing
