Is this thing on?

Just testing … in preparation for our trip I finally figured out what software I need to install on the iPad to transfer photos to it from the Sony. And then for good measure I installed Lightroom. Looking around for a test subject … “What are you doing?” asked Mystère. Technically not a good photo, but his expression says it all.

Yesterday the firewood guy proactively rang us up. This is unheard of. Normally S has to harass him for weeks. Someone else in the village had ordered a part load, so he evidently wanted to fill the lorry up to make it more profitable. So this afternoon we took delivery of three stères. It was hot work stacking it, but it only took an hour including a short beer break.

I may not have done much walking to prepare for the trip, but I did go to the third circuit training class yesterday evening. We are all enjoying it, so much that we asked J if we could carry on through the summer as long as there’s three or four of us, and he said yes.

And finally I’ve been gradually putting together luggage transfers and evening meals for our walk. It’s a fiddly and time-consuming business!
