Let it Grow

We bought this hanging basket on April 13th (and duly blipped it!) and it’s definitely come on a bit since then, despite the atrocious “summer” weather we are having and the fact that it’s not really hanging in the best position to benefit from what little sun we do get.
First time back in the gym for a week, this morning - and it showed! Managed the weight, but struggled for maximum reps.
The situation with mum rumbles on and has - if anything - become more confused. It now seems that she has paid out over £50K in the last twelve months for work to be done on the house. How much of that was legit, how much was necessary and how much is just overcharging an old lady for minimal - or no - work is as clear as mud. The one thing that is clear to my untrained eye is that nothing like £50K’s worth of work has been done!
Unfortunately, the police officers who were going to see her have been caught up in an emergency today so can’t get there until tomorrow. I really hope they can make it then as we need some guidance as to how we move forward with caring for my mum and sister to prevent this sort of thing from happening again, whilst still allowing them some degree of independence.
