Pixelfoto's Journal

Last Friday we woke up and discovered we had no water. After checking with neighbours we discovered that the whole of Stokesley (about 6,000 population) was without water. A water main had burst on the outskirts of the town. A temporary fix was made and we had water back, with low pressure, by lunchtime. Then over the weekend it was repaired properly.

Unfortunately a couple of nights ago there was another burst pipe but thankfully didn't have the same result with everybody being without water again. It seems they are still working on the repair.

It's not a pretty blip but it is being posted on the day it was taken. Now I just need to keep it up. There is a plant in extras and it is a plant which we don't see very often in people's gardens, an Angel's Fishing Rod or Dieerama Pulcherrimum. When I looked it up  saw that a plant costs £18.99 to buy from the RHS. At the rate I manage to lose plants I don't think I will be getting one.
