The Castle Coo

As the Kinnaird Head foghorn was called was operational from 1903 until 1987. Situated on the cliffs at Kinnaird Head, close to the lighthouse it gave a loud 7 second warning blast every 90 seconds. It could be heard as far as 17 miles out to sea as well as all over Fraserburgh.
