Little jewels

We did get a bit of rain yesterday. Only about 1/2 an inch so not nearly enough but we'll take it. Our cisterns captured quite a bit of water with the intermittent down pours and today being sunny the solar pump from the field pond just about finished the job of filling. It's a sweet system.
But back to the photo. The asparagus look so amazing after a rain but I can never really capture the whole clump very well. This one frond, well above my head, did the trick though.
