Shower

It was a bright and very breezy day with showers (if you were unlucky) so we decided to go up Criffel before heading home. It was quite warm in the sun but there was a strong wind as well. We bumped into a pal in the car park who had just come down after being part of a team from Moffat mountain rescue team helping a young person in a wheelchair reach the top. It would have been hard work as despite there being an excellent track there were many culverts and raised areas to reduce erosion. It was quite sheltered on the eastern side of the hill but really windy at the top. We got there just as the edge of a shower over the Nith Estuary passed by, so sheltered by the Trig point. It wasn’t long before the sun came out and the blip is a panorama of the shower heading away.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is the Nith Estuary.
