Always First

The white penstemon are the first to flower in the meadow, in any numbers at least. There have been years when it was a sea of white, but this year they are somewhat straggly. I managed to find a few flowers that are better examples and decided to record them. Photographing them can be tricky though because the white of the petals easily blows out when the sun catches them.
