Siskin

A very wet day with the occasional short spell of sunshine, whereby the birds and the bees dashed out to feed!
A little group of Siskins have been in the garden this week. They are feeding from the sunflower seed feeder and stuffing as much as they can into their beaks as quickly as possible. The result of this is a lot of seeds on the ground for the pigeons, blackbirds and Dunnocks and we have to refill the feeder far more often than normal, but we are perfectly happy to do this.
