Capturing my Journey

Beautiful

Morning at St Marie Lake. We packed up camp yet again. Headed into town to get a coffee wifi and to get me a Canadian sim card and a few other bits and bobs. My lightening strike app alerted us to an incoming bunch of thunderstorms. We decided to head to the campsite we had been at the night before last. We got there tent up tarp sorted to cover our stuff best as possible and it started hailing and thrashing down so we dived into the truck with the dogs. Once it calmed a bit we headed to the tent for a bit. Still plenty of thunder and lightening but not too much rain. Turns out the tent leaks with that volume of water so all got a bit damp overnight. With WiFi on the site I have caught up with all my blips now. We are awaiting to hear if we can get into the accommodation tomorrow if not we are staying on this campsite until then. The woman who runs it is so lovely and when the storm hit we saw her driving round repeatedly checking everything was OK!
