Absence of bokeh

But (shouldn't start sentence with But) but at least you get to have a glimpse into my ageing library!  

A frustrating day trying to get to grips with my newly found camera settings (sorry Aliscotia) and my new very second hand phone    .....  at 8pm I'm getting there, slowly, with the phone.  In other news:  friend Rose bobbed in after a hair do for coffee and a chat this morning, a little food shopping and a visit to friends this afternoon to try and book up a caravan outing together up North to Whitby in September, no go with the sites we were interested in so will do more research tomorrow.

Just got back from the supermarket before a humungous cloud burst, hopefully it'll be a better day tomorrow.
