Giant Canvas

My friend Gail invited me to a mutual friend’s house because the friend is moving back home and can’t take everything with her. Gail said she had some canvases. So I went round this morning and this giant beauty was one of the two canvases. It’s 30 by 48 inches, the biggest canvas I’ve ever used. I could hide it away until inspiration hits, which might be never. Or I can use it now. I’ve decided to do that. I’ll paint an abstract and call it Anita’s Dream as this was Anita’s canvas. This should be fun, especially if I can be free and fully engaged, not worrying about “wasting” this huge well-made canvas. Did I mention that Anita gave it to me? What a gift!
