Sun on the sea

It was a perfect morning for sitting by the sea, reading my book and watching the world go by. So that is just what I did. ***

Before the two workers returned to London we all had lunch at Mackerel Sky . . . fish and more fish and more fish. Delicious! Then we had to call a few doors down to get Jelberts ice cream . . . well everyone does (see extra).

Now all is quiet and we have a few days here on our own.

*** It was low tide and that's when the granite slabs appear which are the remnants of the old road connecting Penzance and Newlyn. It was destroyed in a gale in 1880 and abandoned. The new road was built further inland and is more elevated. And yes there were two people in the water!
