Wildflowers in the park

I enjoyed a very early walk in the park this morning, before buying a large coffee and a sandwich to take to work. It was a sunny morning and I enjoyed connecting with nature in a place where I used to push a pram, push swings, walk the dog. It has a wonderful variety of trees, but what really caught my eye were the wildflower patches. I did wonder if the blue and yellow planting was a nod to Ukraine. There was much of it, not just in this patch.

The rest of the day has been busy but productive and I am excited to head back to Jersey tomorrow! Will have some time to catch up with journals once I'm home.
