Another view of the HS2 route

This one was taken on my way in, on my way out as I climbed the hill to the top, I saw a deer looking at me from its side of the newly erected metal fence, probably wondering why the land it used to be able to run free on was now divided and big diggers lined the landscape, destroying the land for the sake of HS2. It looked at me with doleful eyes, I look back I wanted to take a picture to capture the moment but it wondered off into the bushes, I hope it has enough wild spaces left to live a happy life.
