Barbara Hepworth

Walked over to Modern Two to see the Barbara Hepworth exhibit. It wasn't nearly as busy as it might have been - almost no other viewers until room 6 where there were quite a few. 

Lots of paintings, drawings, letters, some prints in addition to the sculptures. Main image shows how the small ones were displayed. The extra is the iconic style - remarkably finished wood with carved hollows and stitching. 

Dark clouds to the East as we left, so we didn't stop for tea. We did dawdle enough to watch a digger where the Roseburn path crosses the A8, working on the new cycleway.
