Astrantia and Poppies

A rare thing, a dry day, so caught up with a load of laundry from the recent visitors.  Then tried to tackle chopping down the jungle of ferns and aquilegia that have smothered the flag stones where the hammock usually goes.  Will make it easier to harvest the worcester berry bushes growing in front of the kitchen window.  It's a bumper crop, a lot of topping and tailing will be needed when they finally ripen.

Was knackered after that so sat outside reading, another rare occurrence.
