Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

2022 Wednesday — Numbers

Recently our local firefighters told us we need to prominently displace our street numbers on this house. That was news to us and good information. So we are currently in the "thinking about it phase."

A stroll through our nearby Hobby Lobby store when we were in SoCal a couple weeks ago caused me to be in the numbers and letters department. So I bought some, brought them home, and we now have them here at our coast house. We are using these as a template to determine what we'd like to do; we don't plan to use wood, but metal for the permanent fixture. We'll need to hire a skilled welder who also is a designer/artist combo; we think we know that person. So this is a work in progress.

We walked the pups in Tidelands Park today and then I walked from the park to the PG&E stacks to check off my 30 minutes of daily walking. Mr. Fun met me there. Then we drove toward Cayucos with a stop at Spencer's Market to get a few necessary items so we could prepare dinner once we arrived home.

I sautéed garlic and onion to begin the pasta meal that we enjoyed for our dinner. While those were simmering, I diced fresh strawberries to top our salad. Dinner was filling and tasty. The clock signaled that the 7:00 p.m. hour had arrived so we connected Mr. Fun's phone to our flatscreen and participated by live-streaming the evening worship with Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. The music team is wonderful. Pastor Jack's message was excellent, as always ; he is fresh off of vacation and his energy level is high.

That was our Wednesday,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
