Cruden Bay Blues

This was the view that greeted Mrs CBL and I as we emerged from the dunes on to the beach today for our walk.  

It is heartbreaking to several dead gannets strewn along the shoreline. These strikingly beautiful seabirds dropping dead as a consequence of having caught avian flu.
