Lilium regale

I did post one of the trumpets last Sunday as I waited to see how many would burst into flower. So today for Flower Friday I decided to give you both views. The flower head has seven blooms, which I think is a record for my two bulbs, the other one only has two trumpets. I didn't know which one to post so I have given you two to hopefully enjoy.

Most of the morning we were dogged by showers, fortunately the first downpour came while I was in at  Aerobics class, and the second just coming out of one of the shops when the heavens opened again. Sunshine this afternoon, with blue sky and white fluffy clouds.
