Early buds

Following on from yesterday's theme, the buds on the little chestnut tree, grown from a conker planted by a neighbour over 20 years ago, are bursting out profusely, well ahead of the whitebeam, sycamore and ash.

Friday's cancelled meeting was rescheduled for this morning. It was misty with a smirry rain until the afternoon when we managed to plant some more rhubarb taken from a friend's garden. Then a bit of re-organisation and tidying up, including moving a pile of accumulated stones out of the way.
