Having a whale of a time

Feeling a bit silly, coming up out of a drain in the middle on the pavement, but it is Silly Saturday.

This is part of Drain Art Project in Emsworth  by The Final Straw Foundation which highlights the way litter can be washed down our streets and end up going straight out to sea.  There are about 15 of these colourful designs that were painted around drains on the streets by local artist Deborah Hochreutener in the summer of 2021. A competition was run open to local schoolchildren to create the designs. They bring a bit of fun and colour as well an important message.
