A Working Pine

One of two still standing dead old pine trees working for the beetles and birds in the garden. The bark all fell off this spring. Not sure if it will wait until autumn to be cut down. I have a new garden helper, a 'Landscaper Wannabee', who works as a phone line repair man to make actual money.
He not only cuts my lawn but wants to start using his chain saw to cut down some needy branches.
A willing worker is a welcome gift-- much like this working old pine.

Wonderful summer weather has returned. 70º light breeze, sunny days.  I love summer days here. They make up for the long winters
