Table Tennis skills

We took a long, picturesque walk along the river and canal around the outskirts of the City which was the best idea because the couple of occasions we had to cross in to Oxford, it was heaving!  The tourist season has definitely begun.  Our destination was the Anchor pub where Euan was attracted by the two older girls playing table tennis.  He was invited to join them but was a little shy until Daddy took him over and then he was hooked.

We had lunch, which for Tony and Becky who chose the lamb was not a success as it was inedible.  The desserts were better and, after another round of table tennis, it was time to walk home a different route, taking in a children's playground.

Euan was whacked by the time we arrived home, more so because the afternoon nap is becoming a thing of the past.  We managed to keep him going with Bluey and magic painting but he was well past it by bedtime!  Tony and I cleared the dinner things from the kitchen whilst Mummy and Daddy did an excellent job of placating one very tired little boy.  As I write I can hear stories being read so hopefully he will soon be off to sleep.
