Tree pareidolia

While trying to see what the pond frogs were up to today I suddenly saw this, a surprised face on a tree trunk :-) Why have I never seen that before ?

Thanks so much for all the Abstract Thursday entries last week, most of hem with the optional theme. It was fun seeing how you interpreted the theme ! I'm sorry that all I could do today was giving ever entry a star and a short message, just as I was getting ready to do the commenting something came up that needed immediate attention and took some time to sort out. Hopefully next weekend will be different !

Of course this coming Thursday is the first Abstract Thursday in July and as such it is again a theme-free challenge this week. The tag will be AT367.
