Looking home

JJ worked over the back with the conservation group this morning and they made a lot of headway with the brush cutter dealing with some of the brambles and clearing around the apple trees.

I disappeared for a walk around the field margins looking for anything interesting and experimenting with my new camera.  This is the view from the edge of one of the fields (trespassing), looking back towards home.

Luke is still in Addenbrook’s with an as yet unidentified virus.  His temperature has been going up and down and he’s been on oxygen.  They took him down for a CT scan on his lungs today and have carried out lots of tests to try and find out what’s going on.  His Lukaemia isn’t helping the situation.  His mum has just this minute messaged me to say they think it’s a chest infection.

Apparently hospitals have admitted many more children than in previous years.  Covid has had a serious impact on immunity because they weren’t mixing with other children as would be the case normally.

The tennis and Grand Prix have been exciting.
