Golden Girl

These are the common day lily but they are one of the first varieties to bloom.  I call them my Golden Girls after one of my favorite television shows from ages ago.  It is lily season now and soon the garden will be filled with their lovely faces.  One glorious day and then they are done. but they do put on quite a show.  Bloom baby, bloom!
