We managed another walk this afternoon ..... macs were a must 'just in case' as there were quite a few dark clouds looming! We almost made it back home dry .... just a few large drops of rain during the last few hundred yards.

I was really chuffed to get a photo of this Small Skipper (a male I think) ..... had to wait for the wind to take a breather but perseverance paid off :-)

We also watched some young Swallows being fed ..... unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of it being fed but did manage this :-)

We also saw the Yellowhammer again, this time with his mate .... also a Kestrel on the hunt! :-)
