Friday's flowers...

I bought these peonies last Thursday, but they remained tightly in bud until yesterday and even today they are not all fully open.  I do love these glorious flowers, especially the pink ones.  Once upon a time we had them in our garden but one year they simply did not come up and we haven't seen them since.

In other news: our decorator J started on the little office room today.  I thought yesterday was bad enough but even more stuff had to be dragged out to let the decorating commence.  We have Stella-Rose tonight as well as tomorrow as her mummy is on a work course.  Fortunately we have managed to find a tiny corner of daughter #1's bedroom to place the travel cot in!
