Millipede

We found this millipede while we were picking over today's haul of redcurrants. It scuttled off to hide under the nearest currants  and in due course we sent it to the compost heap where I am sure it will be very happy. No idea which of the 12000 names species this is!

We're building up a decent number of redcurrants in the freezer day by day. I have never seen such a prolific bush. A few gooseberries are ripe and it looks as if one of the cherry trees is an eating cherry and not a wild gean after all.
