Tractor Tuesday, View From The Cab....

Another day of this and that.
Sent Kev off with the grass topper to whack down some of the many fields with a mass of thistles growing in them.
I went next door intending to shift the combine out the shed then bring out the tedder ,rake and bale wrapper to get them ready for action.
First problem was the combine had a flat tyre,so had to rig up the compressor and sped the next 20 minutes blowing it back up.
Then it wouldn't start as the battery was flat,so put the battery charger on and went back home.
Spent the afternoon cutting a wee field of grass. There wasn't as much on it as I hoped, but want to get it ready to bale before the quarry decide to move in with the diggers as it is their next phase to work.
Headed back next door and eventually got the combine moved.
Back home and headed down the road to feed the heifers, then back home in time to meet one of Mrs F's friends ,and her son, who is interested in a career in agriculture and wanted a bit of a chat about farming.
Always happy to help someone keen to join our industry.
