The Waverley

After the fun of the YoungScot Awards with all its razzmatazz I woke up early this day and looked out of a somewhat grubby window to see the Waverley berthed on the Clyde, catching the morning light. The last seagoing passenger carrying paddle steamer in the world. From my time in Private Office in the early 1980s I have happy memories of a trip down the Clyde on this vessel. A stark contrast to another trip when on a nuclear submarine under the Clyde!
