Helenium heaven.

In the new garden surrounding the converted barn this swathe of Helenium is shining bright at the moment.

Most of the day was spent continuing with the weeding and watering all the trees and shrubs, some of which are finding the dry conditions quite tough.

I was supposed to be spending the evening with the lovely lady but she's developing the same cold as her son so we both decided it safest if I didn't. He's been of work for a couple of days and if rather not do that if it can be avoided, sensible sucks!
