as i was getting - a flower shot - preparing for my post - i was all ready - had the perfect - flower picked out - or so i thought - and just needed - to add my narrative - so i was turning - to leave the gardens - and heard a buzzing sound

you know when - something’s off right? - you feel it - sense it - you just know - and you know - when it’s in - a good way - especially when the - hair on the - back of your - neck goes up - and so it was here - i turned and glanced up - towards the sound - i’d had the feeling - i was going - to see geese - but i only saw - this lone ranger - doing a solo flight - in the great expanse - of the whole sky - no other geese - to be seen - nope, not one - but sometimes one is - all it takes - to make it…
