So Boris Johnson finally agreed to resign this morning, although even now he's not surrendering the reins of power, but trying to stay on in a caretake role for another 3 months.  Hopefully his party will realise that if you can't trust him to tell the truth or act with integrity then its not safe to let him continue to govern - but amazingly enough I don't think even that is a given as yet.
