Walnuts!

This year, following a friend's suggestion I'm having a go at pickled walnuts. We have a mature walnut tree in the garden and it's got a lot of nits on it - so why not? You harvest them at this time of year when they're green and then (in my case) you follow a recipe you find on the Internet!
