Guess where?

Yes, we're now in Holland Netherlands driving towards Rotterdam.  When we were in Belgium, curling, a Dutch gentleman whom I've met before at curling competitions, wasn't pleased that I was calling his country Holland and pointed out that Holland was only one region in (the) Netherlands - something else I'm unsure of - is it simply Netherland or The Netherlands?  At school we always spoke about Holland - I must google the history of the country to find out what's what.  
We spent our last night in a hotel just outside of Bruges and had intended to visit the city today.  However J was a bit tired and wasn't looking forward to driving into a city and try and find a parking place.  Instead we asked for a late checkout and then enjoyed a really lovely breakfast then a more leisurely drive towards the port.  The countryside was beautiful and we kept off the motorway and drove across bridges and through tunnels to cross the waterways.  I know the blip is out of focus as I should have avoided the rearview mirror, but just had to blip the windmill. The extras are very Dutch with lots of cyclists and wind turbines.
